So many of you have asked us the logical question,
“what is the best multi-vitamin supplement to go with my TrueBlue™
mineral supplement?” The answer (usually preceded by considerable
head scratching) has been “I don’t know of one that we can really
recommend!” You see, there are several major problems in finding
a good multivitamin to suggest for our valued TrueBlue™ Customers.
Is your multivitamin suffering from vitamin deficiency?
It may not sound plausible, but read on— there are several reasons
why the multivitamin sitting on your shelf is not living up to your
expectations. First, United States regulations regarding Health
Supplements are so lax that you seldom get what is on the label.
Consumerlabs™ recently found that fully one third of popular multivitamin
brands sold in America do not meet label claims!
Second,
even if you get what it says on the label, the amounts of vitamins
are at RDA levels or below in most cases. The RDA (Recommended
Daily Allowance) is set at the lowest level required to barely
prevent disease. For example, the RDA for vitamin C is a mere 85
mg – just enough to prevent scurvy, but far from the optimal amount
needed for excellent health which is ten times that amount or more.
Third, most formulas don’t take advantage of recent clinical research
on anti-aging ingredients such as CoQ-10, Alpha Lipoic Acid, L-Carnitine,
Grape Seed Extract, etc. A few manufacturers put a token amount
in just so they can have it on the label, but not at therapeutic
levels. Go to your multivitamin bottle and read how many ingredients
are in there. No, really do it! Are there 32 ingredients like The
Kitchen Sink™? If there is (not likely), how much of the expensive
ones like CoQ-10 is in there? Go to our website where The Kitchen
Sink™ ingredient list is, and compare ingredient-for-ingredient;
no matter what brand you are taking, you will be shocked at how
little of the good stuff is in those brands. Have you ever wondered
why you don’t feel any different after taking a multivitamin for
years? Now you know why. There is next-tonothing in it!
Why is there so little in your store bought multivitamins?
Truth is, your local health food store cannot offer you a product
with enough ingredients to make a difference to your health, because
a product with the best vitamins and anti-aging ingredients at full
therapeutic levels would cost you about $200 a bottle!
You see, it works like this. If a manufacturer begins with the proper
ingredients, they will cost him about $25, but then that price gets
multiplied several times. Usually he sells to a distributor for
a mark-up and the distributor sells to the health food store, and
most stores double their cost to sell to you. On top of that, is
a sizeable advertising campaign, plus it has now been shipped three
times which adds more to the cost. Voila, you have a $200 bottle
of vitamins… and it probably wouldn’t sell. That is why you cannot
find a truly great multi-vitamin in a health food store. The distribution
and advertising makes it too expensive for most folks to afford.
The decision that can revolutionize your health
At CFU, after many months of research, we decided to MAKE a multivitamin
that fits all the criteria – one with “everything in it but the
kitchen sink,” so to speak.
First, we formulated ingredient levels higher than RDA amounts (on
average, 554% more than RDA) – each ingredient is at full therapeutic
doses so you get enough to make you feel great. We also made it
an anti-aging product that has every major scientifically proven
anti-aging/antioxidant ingredient in it, at full therapeutic
doses. There is no product in America that has dared to put so many
good ingredients in a bottle at levels that will really change lives!
We challenge you to find a better product anywhere for any price.
Oh, and it is manufactured in Canada, where the Federal Government
classifies vitamins as drugs and they are subject to the strictest
testing requirements in the world, so that you know you are
getting what it says on the label.
And best of all, we don’t have any distributor to mark it up or
any retail store to double the distributor price. Since we only
offer it to you, our TrueBlue™ customers, there are virtually no
advertising costs, so we don’t have to sell it for $200 a bottle,
we can sell it for less. . . a lot less! You get a real bargain
as a CFU Customer! (Please don’t take our word for it, though. Compare
“the Sink” ingredient list to similar amounts found in any other
combination of products and you will see we are not exaggerating
about the $200 retail price it would normally sell for!)
