  Age Spots, Digestion, Sleep

I have been taking the coral calcium for approximately 4 months and as I was putting on hand cream the other day, I noticed that my age spots were lighter and almost completely gone, I was just amazed and couldn't believe my eyes, my daughter notices everything and she said Mom, your spots are going away. So, I am pretty happy with the product, also have noticed my digestion is much better and I sleep better at night I usually take my last pill of the day at bedtime. That's it for now, hopefully will have more things to report later.

  Fibromyalgia Immunity

I have been taking Coral Calcium now for five months. Three in the morning and three at bedtime. I have had fibromyalgia for 11+ years and so I don't expect it to go away over night. My muscles are so tender and have the classic lumps. So far, I have not gotten any relief from the Coral Calcium for fibromyalgia, BUT I found that my immunity is so much better. Since I started taking it, I have not been sick with a virus or bug even for one day. My family have gone through several bad colds and flu's but I rode it through without even a sore throat. I usually get everything the family gets. And when you get sick on top of having FMS, you really go under for a while and it takes along time to resurface.
So for that alone, I am sooo thankful. I feel my immunity is almost bullet proof. I am still waiting to see it work for my FMS, but am convinced that it is an excellent product.

  Shoulder Pain

Previous to taking TrueBlue Coral Calcium I had barely any range of motion in my right shoulder. It was difficult to take off my coat, cook dinner or to lift my grandchild. It was really taking a bite out of my day not being able to move like I used to. After I started taking the coral calcium I noticed that I could rotate my shoulder much easier as the days and weeks went on. Now I am back again painting walls and enjoying my life again. Thank you TrueBlue!.

Finish off your Multivitamin, 'The Kitchen Sink™' is Coming!

You would not believe how many of you have asked us the logical question “What is the best multi-vitamin supplement to go with TrueBlue™?”. The answer (usually preceded by considerable head scratching) has been “I don’t know of one that I can really recommend”. It only makes sense to have an excellent multi-vitamin to complement the best multi-mineral, right?.

You see there are several major problems in recommending a good multivitamin.

First, United States regulations regarding Health Supplements are so lax that you seldom get what is on the label. "We have all read the articles where vitamin brands have been tested by watch dog groups and exposed for having little or none of the ingredients listed on the label actually inside the bottle." Not that long ago 70% of Melatonin brands were found to contain absolutely no Melatonin.

Second, even if you get what it says on the label, the amounts of vitamins are at RDA levels or below. The RDA (Recommended Daily Allowance) is set at the lowest level required to barely prevent disease. For example, RDA for vitamin C is 60 mg – just enough to prevent scurvy, but far from the optimal amount needed for excellent health which is 10 times that amount or more. In other words most multi-vitamins have lower levels of vitamins than are required for optimal health.

Third, most formulas don’t take advantage of recent clinical research on anti-aging ingredients such as CoQ-10, Alpha Lipoic Acid, L-Carnitine, Grape Seed extract, etc. A few put a token amount in just so they can have it on the label, but not at therapeutic levels.

Finally, it is impossible to recommend you go to your Health Food Store to pick up a great multi-vitamin because a product with the best vitamins and anti-aging ingredients at full therapeutic levels would be approaching $150 a bottle!

You see, it works like this. The manufacturer begins with an extremely expensive product and then the price gets multiplied several times. Usually he sells to a distributor for a mark up and the distributor sells to the Health Food Store and most Health Food stores double their cost to sell to you. On top of that is a sizeable advertising campaign, plus it has now been shipped twice, and voila, you have a $150 bottle of vitamins… and it probably wouldn’t sell. That is why you cannot find a truly great multi-vitamin in a health food store.

That’s why you see Health Food Stores carry a “premium quality” multivitamin sold for maybe $40 and CoQ-10 sold separately for $30 and Alpha Lipoic Acid sold separately for $25, L-Carnitine sold for…well, you get the picture. If you put all the good stuff in one bottle, it really gets out of reach.

So Jeanne and I got to thinking, we could make a multivitamin that fits all the criteria. We will manufacture it in Canada where the Federal Government classifies vitamins as drugs and they are subject to the strictest testing requirements in the world so that you know you are getting what it says on the label. We will make it at levels higher than RDA - at full therapeutic doses so you get enough to make you feel great. We will also make it an anti-aging product that has every scientifically proven ingredient in it, again, at full therapeutic doses.

And best of all, we don’t have any distributor to mark it up or any retail store to take the distributor price and double it. And since we just offer it to you via an email there are virtually no ad costs, so we don’t have to sell it for $150 a bottle, we can sell it for less than $50!

This super multi-vitamin/Anti-aging formula is appropriately called “The Kitchen Sink™” and it will be ready in about 30 days. So, finish off those multi-vitamins and set aside a few dollars as we will have a “sharp pencil” introductory offer for you. I promise you will want to stock up. You know our policy is to have everyday low pricing and the only time we do specials is to introduce a new product for a very short period of time.   Q & A:

Q Have any studies been done on absorption of calcium from coral?
A Yes, peer reviewed, published studies available show Calcium from Coral has superior absorption compared to Calcium Carbonate. In a small, but well controlled study, Dr. Kunihiko Ishitani reports superior absorption of calcium from Coral in food compared to calcium carbonate. Other carefully controlled feeding studies performed at the Universities of Rukuyuku and Okinawa have shown calcium absorption from coral calcium in experimental animals was better than absorption of calcium from milk, hydroxiapatite or calcium carbonate. Even if Calcium absorption from Coral was the same as from other calciums, it would still be 72 minerals ahead.

Q What is the difference between Chelated, Colloidal and Ionized Minerals?
A

Dr Bob Owen Ph.D, D.Sc answers this in his book, "Why Calcium". He says "Chelate is a Greek word meaning to "claw or grasp" and bond with another substance. A chelated mineral is one that has bonded with an amino acid molecule. Your body recognizes this process and enables both the mineral and the amino acid to be absorbed.

A colloidal mineral has been "suspended" in a liquid molecule, usually water. Recognizing water as a necessary element, the body allows the water, along with the mineral to be transported into the cells by diffusion and osmosis

Ionized minerals are electrically charged molecules, 1000 times smaller than chelates or colloids. These ionized minerals are easily absorbed into the blood and quite readily pass through cellular membranes and into the interstitial (inner) cell fluid. Calcium from Coral becomes ionized immediately when it touches liquid. Ionized minerals, calcium included, are nearly 100% bio-available.

Q Will Coral Calcium help my blood pressure?
A The National Library of Medicine has summarized multiple studies to conclude that supplemental calcium does have a positive effect on lowering blood pressure. Here is the article for you:

Effects of dietary calcium supplementation on blood pressure. A meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials.

Bucher HC, Cook RJ, Guyatt GH, Lang JD, Cook DJ, Hatala R, Hunt DL.

Department of Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics, McMaster University Medical Center, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

OBJECTIVE: To review the effect of supplemental calcium on blood pressure. DATA SOURCE: We searched MEDLINE and EMBASE for 1996 to May 1994. We contacted authors of eligible trials to ensure accuracy and completeness of data and to identify unpublished trials.

STUDY SELECTION: We included any study in which investigators randomized people to calcium supplementation or placebo and measured blood pressure for at least 2 weeks. Fifty-six articles met the inclusion criteria, and 33 were eligible for analysis, involving a total of 2412 patients.

DATA EXTRACTION: Two pairs of independent reviewers abstracted data and assessed validity according to six quality criteria. DATA SYNTHESIS: We calculated the differences in blood pressure change between the calcium supplementation group and the control group and pooled the estimates, with each trial weighted with the inverse of the variance using a random-effects model. Predictors of blood pressure reduction that we examined included method of supplementation, baseline blood pressure, and the methodological quality of the studies. The pooled analysis showed a reduction in systolic blood pressure of -1.27 mm Hg (95% confidence interval [CI], -2.25 to -0.29 mm Hg; P=.01) and in diastolic blood pressure of -0.24 mm Hg (95% CI, -0.92 to 0.44 mm Hg; P=.49). None of the possible mediators of blood pressure reduction explained differences in treatment effects.

CONCLUSIONS: Calcium supplementation may lead to a small reduction in systolic but not diastolic blood pressure. The results do not exclude a larger, important effect of calcium on blood pressure in subpopulations. In particular, further studies should address the hypothesis that inadequate calcium intake is associated with Top of Pageincreased blood pressure that can be corrected with calcium supplementation.
